Reid Automation Systems is a specialist engineering consultancy based in Brisbane, Australia. We are a small, senior team — which means every project is handled by the people who actually design and build it, from first brief to final deployment.

We operate across the complete engineering stack: firmware on constrained edge hardware, custom PCB design and assembly, secure cloud-connected APIs, operator-facing web platforms, and the network infrastructure that ties it all together.

Our work is shaped by real engineering workflows and demanding field environments — not generic software templates. We take on projects where depth matters — complex domains, harsh environments, or problems where off-the-shelf solutions simply don't exist.

We also support what we build. Ongoing managed infrastructure and remote support contracts are available for long-term IoT and platform deployments — so your system stays operational well beyond initial handover.

Electronics Workshop

Our fully equipped electronics workshop is the same facility that designs and assembles custom IoT and embedded hardware for client projects — and handles component-level repair and data recovery for individual and business clients.

This means our diagnostic and repair capability is informed by real hardware engineering experience — we understand how boards are designed, what fails, and why. From microscope-assisted SMD rework to chip-off NAND flash reconstruction, we handle most repair and recovery scenarios.

We serve both individual consumers with damaged devices and businesses requiring board-level repairs of commercial or industrial electronics.
